  2. Covid-19 stipulations​​. Please check that your booking adheres to current Welsh Government guidelines. If your booking is not compliant now, or at any time up to and including the duration of your holiday, it is your responsibility to let us know immediately and we accept no liability for any breach of these rules. 

    1. Government Restrictions:

      1. Two households can form one 'extended household'. There is no limit on the number of people ONLY that they are from 2 households. A third household can join this extended household IF they are in a 'support bubble' with one of the other households. These can be formed in the below circumstances:

      • a household with an adult living alone

      • a household with a single responsible adult

      • a household where you are 16 or 17 living alone or with others of the same age, with no adult

    2. People may meet outdoors in groups of 30.

    3. Face coverings are mandatory in indoor public spaces (subject to certain exemptions and exceptions).

    4. You must also discuss your booking with us if any of the following apply:

      1. You or anyone in your party has tested positive for the coronavirus or is experiencing symptoms;

      2. You or anyone in your party has returned from a country on the quarantine list within two weeks of your booking;

      3. You or anyone in your party live in an area which has been locked down locally.

    5. Other:

      1. No visitors are permitted on site.

      2. You must advise us of the names of all adults in your party for Track and Trace purposes. 

    6. Special cancellation policy: if you have booked a holiday and subsequently have to cancel your holiday due to Covid-19​ then all your money will be refunded, including your deposit. Otherwise our normal cancellation policy applies.

  3. A non-returnable deposit of 30% is payable on booking and the balance is due four weeks before arrival. Bookings made within four weeks of the arrival date must be paid in full. Payment may be made by BACS, bank transfer, or debit/credit card.

  4. A refundable £100 security deposit is also payable for each cottage booked, which is returned after check-out provided there has been no unreasonable damage to your cottage, its contents or the surroundings.

  5. The person making the booking is responsible for:

    1. the payment

    2. reimbursement of any breakages or damage

    3. the care of the use of the cottage, swimming pool and the hot tubs

    4. the care of any children in the party.

  6. Cancellations:

    1. If you cancel your booking and you have only paid the deposit, this will not be refunded.

    2. If you cancel your booking and you have paid in full then the following applies:

      1. More than four weeks before the arrival date: 70% will be repaid to you (the full amount minus the deposit)

      2. Less than four weeks before the arrival date: your money will not be refunded.

    3. The client is liable for the full rental in the event of cancellation and we would therefore strongly recommend you take out insurance to cover the cost of your holiday in the event of cancellation. (Please check your home insurance and your bank account – you may already be covered)

  7. If the property cannot be made available for the period booked and the owners cancel the booking, the hire charge will be refunded in full and the client will have no further claim against Corvus Leisure LLP.

  8. The maximum stay in any cottage is 28 days.

  9. Cottages are let and furnished for the number of guests detailed at the time of booking. 

  10. All vehicles and their accessories and contents and all personal items and baggage in the cottages are left at their owner’s risk. No liability is accepted for any loss, damage, death, sickness or injury howsoever caused which may be sustained during the holiday to the guest or any member of the party, or invited person, or any vehicle and its contents, or any possession of the guest or any member of the party as defined above.

  11. Parents/Guardians must take responsibility for their children and must be present when children:

    1. play at their own risk

    2. handle or feed any animals at their own risk

    3. use the swimming pool and hot tubs at their own risk.

  12. The main cottage heating is by Economy 7 storage heater. Supplemental heating is by separate electric heaters, so please be considerate. 

  13. The swimming pool is normally open from April to September each year, and closed over the winter. The pool is for the sole use of Trenewydd Farm Holiday Cottages guests. There is no lifeguard, therefore all persons using the pool do so at their own risk. Children must be accompanied by an adult swimmer and parents/guardians must accept full responsibility for their safety. Guests must sign a waiver form on arrival. The gate must be closed after entering/leaving the pool area. These restrictions are fully enforced. If the swimming pool has to be closed for servicing, maintenance or break-down, the gate will be locked. Refunds are not payable if the swimming pool is not accessible for any period during your stay.

  14. The hot tubs are sited at Cosy Cottage and Oak Cottage only and are for the exclusive use of guests staying in those cottages (and members of their particular party). Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and parents/guardians must accept full responsibility for their safety. Children under the age of four should not be permitted in the hot tub as the water is too hot for their safety. Guests must sign the hot tub waiver form on arrival. The cover must always be replaced and steps removed away from the hot tub spas when not in use to avoid danger. Guests use the hot tub spas at their own risk and therefore take full responsibility for any accidents. These restrictions are fully enforced. One person will be asked to be responsible for the hot tub to ensure that all pumps and lights are switched off and the hot tub cover replaced after use to conserve the heated water and to avoid danger of children entering the hot tub unattended. The hot tub is monitored and tested daily. If the hot tub has to be closed for servicing, maintenance or break-down, a notice will be attached. Refunds are not payable if the hot tub is not accessible for any period during your stay.  Any damage to the hot tub or the cover will be charged.

  15. Check in time is 3pm on the day of arrival and check out time is 10am on the day of departure. Please let us know if you would like to request any changes to these times.

  16. Please leave the cottage in the same state and condition as when you arrived. We reserve the right to make an additional charge per cottage for failure to comply to our terms and conditions of booking, including but not limited to removal and theft of items, failure to leave the cottage in the same state and condition as found at arrival and additional time we need to spend sorting out crockery, cutlery and utensils which may have moved between cottages where more than one cottage has been booked. Provided there has been no unreasonable damage or loss of items during your stay, your £100 security deposit will be refunded as soon as possible.

  17. Guests are responsible for their cottage and its contents and are liable for any damage whatsoever including soiled carpets, mattresses and bedding. Cottages must be left in a clean state with dishes etc. tidied away. If taking more than one cottage, all dishes etc. must be returned to the appropriate cottage. Bookings are accepted on the condition that all reasonable care is taken of the cottage(s) and contents, and the surrounding communal areas. All damages and breakages are the guest responsibility and we reserve the right to charge to your card or other means any extras and / or damages and / or additional cleaning costs that become liable due to any infringements of these terms and conditions.

  18. Smoking is not permitted in any of the cottages and ash trays are provided for smoking outdoors.

  19. No toiletries etc should be flushed down the toilets as they cause blockages and call-outs will be charged.

  20. Dogs are permitted at a charge of £5 per day in all cottages except for Maple Cottage and must be pre-booked. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times around the cottages and gardens and in no circumstances are they permitted in the children’s play areas. You will need to bring your dog’s bed or preferably a crate as they are allowed on the clear understanding that they must not lie on any of the furniture or carpets or sleep in the bedrooms. Pets must not be left alone in the cottage or gardens at any time. The cottage must be vacuumed during your stay and on the morning of departure. Dogs must be bathed before arriving.

  21. While the Wifi is offered free of charge, the owners cannot be held responsible for any technical difficulties that may arise resulting in the disruption of the service.

  22. All descriptions, advertisements and representations are made in good faith, but the owners reserve the right to make changes or alterations to the property as they deem necessary.

  23. We have the right of entry to the property for the purposes of inspection or to carry out necessary repairs or maintenance. We reserve the right to repossess the property if damage has been caused. These circumstances will be treated as a cancellation by you and no refund will be given.

  24. We reserve the right to amend our terms without prior notice.
