Sustainability is an ongoing journey. We regularly review our environmental practices and seek opportunities to improve our performance, reduce our environmental impact and contribute positively to our local community and natural environment.

Energy and Climate
- We have invested in solar panels which provide renewable energy for our business.
- Our outdoor swimming pool is heated entirely using energy generated by our solar panels, allowing guests to enjoy warm water with minimal environmental impact.
- We provide an electric vehicle charging point to support guests travelling with electric cars and encourage lower emission transport.
- We have replaced most of the older electric heating systems in our cottages with modern, more energy efficient models, helping to reduce energy consumption while maintaining guest comfort.
- We continue to review opportunities to improve energy efficiency across our accommodation and facilities.
Nature and Biodiversity
- We have planted well over 100 trees on our land since moving to Trenewydd Farm in April 2020.
- We actively manage areas of the farm for wildlife, including dedicated wildflower meadows and conservation areas that provide valuable habitats for pollinators, birds and other species.
- We strive to protect and enhance biodiversity across the property through thoughtful land management and conservation practices.
- We encourage guests to enjoy and appreciate the natural environment during their stay, for example by building our Giant Bench at the top of our field to give people the space and time to soak in their surroundings.
Waste Reduction and Recycling
- We aim to minimise waste wherever possible and encourage recycling throughout the property.
- Rather than using single use soap dispensers, we refill hand soap containers to reduce plastic waste.
- We favour durable, reusable products over disposable alternatives whenever practical.
Supporting the Local Community
- We are proud to support local businesses, attractions, restaurants and producers whenever possible.
- We encourage guests to explore Pembrokeshire and enjoy the many independent businesses that help make our region unique.
- Our guest information books include comprehensive recommendations for local attractions, beaches, walks, restaurants, pubs and places of interest.
- At check in, we provide every guest with a local map and are always happy to share our personal recommendations on the best places to visit, eat and explore during their stay.
