Discover the magic of Pembrokeshire
Pembrokeshire is an enchanting destination, known for its breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and vibrant culture. Known in Welsh as Gwlad Hud a Lledrith (Land of Magic and Enchantment), its beauty and charm are impossible to resist. Whatever your interests, be it ancient forts, steam railways, golf courses, outdoor activities, wildlife, nature, walking, cycling, bird watching, coasteering (originating right here in West Wales!), Victorian seaside towns and majestic coastlines, stately homes and gardens, art galleries, museums, restaurants - there's something here for everyone. .
Trenewydd and the Surrounding Area
Located on the North Pembrokeshire coast, Trenewydd is close to the charming villages of Moylegrove and St Dogmaels, as well as the ancient market town of Cardigan. St Dogmaels was named one of the "Best Places to Live in Wales 2022" by The Times - why not head for the working watermill for flour or homemade bread, stopping at the abbey founded in 1120 and its resorted Coach House Visitor Centre for cake and coffee; there is also a small supermarket, a Post Office, a super fish and chip shop and a community pub, The White Hart.
TimeOut hailed Cardigan as one of the UK’s top destinations for 2023, praising its creative flair and fascinating history. There are plenty of interesting and unique shops, places to eat, and of course the castle.

Abundant Wildlife
West Wales is home to diverse wildlife across its coastlines, woodlands, and wetlands. Coastal areas host puffins, guillemots, and peregrine falcons, while buzzards and red kites are commonly seen overhead. The waters off Cardigan Bay are teeming with marine life, including seals, dolphins, and occasionally whales. For nature enthusiasts, Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve is a treasure trove, where you can spot butterflies, dragonflies, and more (The BBC's Autumnwatch was filmed here in 2022). |

My wife and I arranged a holiday for our entire family, son, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren (13 of us in all). We had four cottages, all of which were perfect for our stay. Ginnie and Andrew were lovely throughout, from the very warm welcome to our departure. The whole family had a great time and used many of the excellent facilities, the scalextric was a particularly favourite. Suffice to say, we have booked again for next year.
