Model Trains to Delight Every Guest
During your stay, you can watch steam and diesel model trains run around our extensive garden railway. We even have a special Santa Express and a Halloween train, too. Guests of all ages love it, and little ones especially enjoy spotting Thomas the Tank Engine as he chugs past.
Want To Run Your Trains On Our Track?
You’re more than welcome - in fact, we’d be thrilled to have you! Our garden railway runs on a Dead Rail system (no electrics), so if you've got battery-powered or live-steam locos, definitely bring them along when you book a stay with us. We'd love to see them in action. For reference, the layout is G Gauge, 45mm, with a minimum radius of 5.
Model railway groups and clubs are very welcome too - get in touch if you'd like to stay with us. We'd be delighted to host you, run some trains together, and capture some brilliant photos!

If you’re into classic cars, runs, shows and local meets, West Wales has a lively calendar:
- Cardigan Classic Car Club - local runs and an annual show (great for stroll-rounds and informal meets). Keep an eye on their events calendar for monthly runs and the annual show.
- Cruise Culture (Carmarthen Showground) - larger car show events (big mixed shows, modified and classic cars) - typically attracts lots of visitors from across West Wales. Good for a bank-holiday outing.
- Towy Valley Vintage Club / local vintage shows - regular summer vintage fairs and working-days with tractors, classic cars and engines (handy if you enjoy old machinery beyond cars).
- Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire classic shows - look for Pembrokeshire Classic Car Show and local town centre classics (Carmarthen / Llandeilo / Tenby events appear each summer). Dates change yearly, so best to check organisers’ pages for the current year.
