If Your Question Isn’t Covered Here, Then Please Get in Touch! We’re Always Here To Help.

Will the Swimming Pool Be Open, and Is It Heated?
The pool is usually open from the beginning of May until the end of September. The water is heated and we aim to keep the temperature of the water at an average of around 27°C. If we have warm weather in April and October, then we may be able to extend the opening times by a few weeks, but this cannot be guaranteed (this year we had a particularly warm spring and the pool was open by mid-April).

At the beginning and the end of the season we are somewhat dependant on the weather being reasonably temperate. It's an outdoor pool, and a very large body of water, so if night time temperatures are particularly chilly then the water may be cooler than average during these times.

Which Cottages at Trenewydd Farm Have Private Hot Tubs?
Oak Cottage, Maple Cottage, Chestnut Cottage, Cosy Cottage, and Blackberry Shepherd's Hut have their own private hot tub.

Ash Cottage and Cherry Cottage do not have a hot tub, although Ash Cottage can also use the hot tub situated outside Oak Cottage when these two cottages are booked together.

Is There an EV Charge Point?
Yes, as part of our commitment to eco-friendly holiday cottages, we have installed an untethered VoltShare 7kw Type 2 charger electric vehicle (EV) charging point. To make the most of this service, we suggest you install the VOLTSHARE app from either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store before your arrival. Upon reaching our holiday cottages, all you need to do is connect your EV and scan the QR code located on the charger's front panel.

What Is Provided in My Cottage, or the Hut?

As soon as your booking is confirmed, you'll be sent our Holiday Information pack. Please do take a minute to look at it, as it includes a list of what's provided and what you might like to bring. It also has our best suggested driving routes, particularly if you are coming from the M4. If you follow your satnav, you may not be coming on the best and easiest route.

Do You Have Accessible or Single-Storey Holiday Cottages?
Yes, Cosy Cottage, Ash Cottage, Chestnut Cottage, and Cherry Cottage are single-storey,  making them suitable for guests who prefer to avoid stairs.
  • Cherry Cottage and Cosy Cottage have just 3 internal steps, and Cherry Cottage has a handrail on the wall next to the steps.
  • Chestnut Cottage has wheelchair access round to the rear, and we have a portable ramp for entrance via the patio doors.
  • Oak Cottage is two-storey, but there is a double bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, so there's no need to go upstairs. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

Can We Watch a Film?
Of course! Each cottage, and the shepherd's hut, has a flat screen TV and Netflix.

Can We Bring our Dogs?
Yes, you can bring two dogs with you to stay in each cottage and the shepherd's hut. There are plenty of dog friendly beaches, attractions, and restaurants in the area, as well as lovely walks on the coastal path or the Preseli Hills. We are located just minutes from dog-friendly beaches like Poppit Sands, Mwnt, and Newport Sands, which are perfect for year-round walks.

Can We Use the FootGolf Course Whenever We Like?
Yes, our 9-hole FootGolf course is free for our guests to use at any time, from April to October.

Can Trenewydd Farm Accommodate Large Groups or Family Reunions?
Yes, we can host up to 31 guests across our six cottages and shepherd's hut. Oak and Ash cottages can even be interlinked to sleep 13 together. We are an ideal venue for multi-generational family holidays and group celebrations in West Wales.

How Do We Book the Scalextric?
We'll arrange a time with you during your stay, normally at either 7pm, 8pm, or 9pm. This is an hour-long racing event that we run for up to five people, and the cost is £20 for the session.

Can We Bring Our Own Trains To Run on the Garden Railway?
Yes you can! The track is not electrified (Dead Rail), so your loco needs to be either battery-powered or live steam. It's G Gauge, 45mm, and minimum radius 5.

Can I Buy a Gift Voucher?
Absolutely, if you'd like to purchase a stay at Trenewydd Farm as a gift for someone you can do so. It doesn't have to cover the whole stay, the amount you gift can go towards the purchase price. See our Gift Voucher page for more information.

Do You Have WiFi and Is It Free?
Yes, all guests have access to excellent, free WiFi.

Is There a BBQ We Can Use?
We have several BBQs, and if one is available we can bring it to your cottage on request. We ask that you don't bring single-use disposable BBQs, for environmental and safety reasons.

What Is There To Do at Trenewydd Farm if It Rains?
Rain doesn't stop the fun! Guests can enjoy our indoor Scalextric track, the garden railway, or a soak in their private hot tub. Our cottages are designed to be 'cosy retreats' with high-speed Wi-Fi and streaming-ready TVs, perfect for a peaceful getaway regardless of the weather.

Can We Bring More Than One Car?
Yes, there is plenty of on-site parking if your party has more than one car.

Are Towels and Bed Linen Provided?
Yes, hand and bath towels are provided (you many wish to bring beach towels for hot tub and the pool) and the beds are made up for you.

Does the Postcode Bring Us Right to the Property?
It does, we rarely hear of anyone having issues with their SatNav finding us. Our what3words is ///essential.encounter.different.

What Time Is Check-In and Check-Out?
Check-in is from 3pm, and check-out is by 10am.

Can We Arrive Late, as We Have a Long Journey?
Yes, that's fine. We do appreciate you letting us know, however, so that we can make arrangements with you if necessary.

Which Cottage(s) Would Be Best for Us?
Check out our site map here, or contact us for our recommendation, we're happy to advise!
